Happy Canada Day

On July 1, 1867, Canada joined four provinces: Nova Scotia; New Brunswick; Ontario; and Quebec and became a self-governing dominion of Great Britain.  This date was called Dominion Day until 1982, when Canada declared complete independence from Great Britain.  In 1983, Dominion Day was officially renamed Canada Day.

Canada Day celebrations include parades, concerts, firework displays, and citizenship ceremonies for new Canadian citizens.

July 5… Graham Cracker Day

There’s nothing like making s’mores around a campfire.
But it’s always snowing and really cold, so Christina Marie and I don’t recommend camping at the North Pole.  But we do recommend Mrs. Claus’ indoor s’mores.
Give them a try!
